We have previously been on custom-made trips in India with Gets Holidays.
Hence, we didn’t have any hesitation in contacting them again this time. We contacted Gets in late 2025 to organize a tour for 2 couples to places of interest in Karnataka and Goa. Mohamad Azhar was our contact person in Gets this time also. After discussions with Azhar over a few weeks about places of interest in our selected regions, he proposed an itinerary for 15 days that covered religious and historical sites, site-seeing and relaxation locations. Very good hotels were offered at reasonable cost. A comfortable vehicle with an experienced driver, and local guides at specific locations were included.

At every stage I had complete confidence that my trip was being well managed.
The driver and guides always turned up early, there wasn’t the slightest concern over missing flights. They were flexible to my needs, friendly and competent at every stage. To give a small example, on reaching a new hotel in the evening, the guide for the next day would turn up simply to introduce himself and reassure us that he would be there for us next morning.

Will we be part of a group tour?

Is India comfortable for a first visit?

When is the best time to go?
October to March is ideal for most of India: dry, sunny and comfortable. Ladakh and Kashmir are at their best from May to September, and Kerala is lush and quiet in the monsoon.
